ProFab Northwest LLC was founded in 2011 in a single car garage, with nothing but a welding machine and a passion to create. Since then, we have continued to expand our capabilities and hone our skills in the art and science of metal fabrication and manufacturing. Today, we operate from a humble, yet vastly capable shop in the shadow of Mt. Rainier in Graham, WA. We offer fabrication and metal manufacturing services from design and prototyping, to full production.

Our Capabilities

Design

Every project starts with a design. We can create product from customer supplied designs and specifications, or create our own using the latest in 2D and 3D CAD software. All it takes is an idea to get your project started.

CNC Laser Cutting

With modern CNC Fiber laser technology, we are able to make precise and repeatable cuts in various types of metal sheet and plate up to 1/2” thick. Laser cutting produces an exceptional edge quality that is virtually perpendicular to the surface. With a kerf width often as small as a few thousandths of an inch, extremely fine detail can be achieved.

Sheet Metal Forming

After being cut from flat sheet, parts begin to take shape as they undergo various forming and bending operations. We can typically form parts up to 1/4” thick in-house.

Tube Bending

We are able to bend tube and pipe up to 2” diameter, up to 180°. Round and square tubing are the foundation for creating strong frames and structures. Many of our tube fabrications can be found in racing applications, often utilizing the strength of 4130 chromoly round tube.

Welding

ProFab started as a simple welding service. Today, welding is still an integral part of our manufacturing process. We use MIG and TIG welding processes to produce strong, high quality welds in a variety of metals including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, and more.

Milling

We offer manual milling services for both repair and small run production. We also facilitate larger production CNC milling through our local partners.

Lathe Turning

We are able to accomplish a variety of lathe operations including turning, facing, knurling, drilling, and threading. We can accommodate parts up to 14” diameter and 48” in length.

Laser Engraving

Our fiber laser engraving machines can produce a variety of surface markings, deep engravings and etching on all types of raw and finished metals, and some types of plastics and other materials. We can create custom artwork for one off pieces as well as adding logos, part #s, and serial #s to small or large runs of parts.

Finishing

Finishing is typically the final step to most projects. we offer many options for both raw metal and coated finishes. Various types of sanding, polishing, tumbling, media blasting, and paint prep can be achieved in our shop. We work with outside processors for powder coating, anodizing, and other specialty coatings.
